As the world market price of sterling silver
continues to increase, the costs of sterling silver beads, pins and earring
fittings are all being constantly increased by my suppliers. I really want to
continue to offer high quality sterling silver earrings at an affordable price,
so for all my fabulous customers who come back year after year, I will try to
limit any general price increases as much as possible.

WHAT'S HOT THIS SEASON |
|
|
 |
You may have noticed that I am using some pretty little
leaf-shaped charms this season. These are Gingko leaves and they are a
favourite of mine. The Ginkgo is a tree which dates back around 270 million
years; aptly termed a living fossil, the tree was present at the time of the
dinosaurs and is a symbol of longevity, with some plants living to be over
3,000 years old. The tree is revered in Japan - the Gingko trees that
surrounded the temple in Hiroshima survived the atomic attack, and it is
viewed as a symbol of survival and 'the bearer of hope'. Gingko is widely used
as an herbal supplement and is thought to improve memory loss and increase
mental clarity. |

The success of the Artisan Market in Wilmslow continues.
The market is a wonderful
combination of the very best local food and craft, set in the heart of Wilmslow town
centre. I can really recommend a trip to Wilmslow for the next market
- please see the
Events
page for details. |

|
There is a great new Farmers Market now at
Sugnall Hall,
close to Eccleshall. Sugnall Hall is a lovely venue and the market joins a host of other interesting
events scheduled on their calendar.

I am really
pleased to continue as a regular exhibitor at
Rode Hall,
Alsager,
Sandbach
and
Betley
Farmers
Markets. They are all fantastic markets,
sure to appeal to anyone interested in good locally-produced food, unique gifts and
organic products. These markets continue to go from strength to strength - see the
Events
page for details. |
